Turn 12: Your Premier Sports Bar Destination in Monterey

Really unique restaurant. The menu is creative but execution and flavors could be a little better. The margarita came in a martini glass which was strange but it was STRONG so that made up for it. Definitely worth the visit if you're in the area and enjoy motorsports.

If I could give more than five stars, I would…Turn 12 Bar & Grill is absolutely outstanding! From the moment you walk in, you know you’re in for a special evening. The racing-themed décor…vintage motorcycles, historic motorsport memorabilia, and that custom pewter bar top with tire tread detail—sets a fun, energetic tone. The menu is superb. There’s something for everyone…juicy steaks, perfectly cooked pasta, crisp salads, creative pizzas, and exceptional bar fare. Everything I tried was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The service matched the food…the staff is warm, attentive (without being overbearing), and clearly passionate about making the experience great. Ambience? Spot on. Whether you’re there for brunch with friends, dinner, or a late-night bite, the vibes are just right…relaxed but lively, polished but approachable. The location is convenient, with indoor and patio seating, and the place feels just as inviting during a casual meal as it does for a fun night out. Overall, Turn 12 Bar & Grill is one of those gems that delivers on every level: food, service, atmosphere, and value. Highly recommended if you’re in Monterey…don’t miss this one. Five stars well earned.

First time dining here, I loved the beautiful, tranquil atmosphere with the carefully low volume music setting the mood. I had the Chicken Parmesan, it was tender and the spaghetti was perfect being al dente, not mushy or over cooked This is an adult dining place at night and I felt very relaxed here. The staff was friendly and although the main bar area was active, I was in the back area of the restaurant and it was isolated to the front area. I highly recommend Turn 12, the menu is not large but, not small and reasonably priced for Monterey and has a vast selection of entrees and drinks for everyone

We showed up with a party of 18 and talk about looking a gift horse in the mouth. We brought in over $600 in revenue and really felt like we were a burden on the restaurant. And truth be told, we're not that demanding at all. So maybe we caught them off guard but the place wasn't bubbling with customers. Don't want to do any damage or drive people away. Food was good service was generally OK but want the business to know that people skills are important. Service was generally good but again make me feel appreciated and not like I'm a pain in your ass.

Turn 12 is awesome. If you’re into racing or just like cool spots, this place is worth checking out. They’ve got old racing motorcycles and car parts all over the place—it’s like a mini motorsport museum with a bar in the middle of it. The bar is huge, with tons of space and a great drink selection. The bartender was super friendly and made us feel right at home. The food was solid too—big portions and really tasty. Definitely the kind of place where you don’t leave hungry. All in all, Turn 12 has a great vibe, cool decor, and good food and drinks. I’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely love Turn 12 Bar & Grill! They have a great bar with awesome drinks, super tasty pizza, and such a friendly, welcoming vibe. The staff are always smiling and make you feel right at home. If you’re ever in Monterey, this place is a must-visit—you won’t be disappointed!

First time trying Turn 12. Came here specifically to dine and catch the football game. Love the atmosphere here. Service was incredible and our food was just as great. I must give major kudos to our server Charles on Sunday evening. He was so super kind and funny. Definitely coming back and hope to see him again. Thank you Charles!

This restaurant is GREAT the food is so good that I ate here twice while on vacation! I highly recommend anything with risotto, calamari, and pizza. If you are in town and need somewhere to eat, come here. Parking was also pretty easy to find
